Terms of Service

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Ancord Corp website and any order you place through it. By browsing the site, submitting an enquiry or placing an order, you accept them. They form an electronic contract that is valid and enforceable under Section 10A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Where a term below conflicts with a right that Act gives you, that right prevails.

Who you are contracting with

Ancord Corp is the seller of record for everything listed on this site. We hold our own stock; this is not a marketplace listing third-party sellers. Full legal entity details are on the Company Information page.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and capable of entering a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you order on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

Catalogue, specifications and pricing

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of GST. The tax component is shown separately at checkout and on your tax invoice.
  • Product specifications are supplied by manufacturers and believed accurate at publication. Where a specification is critical to your installation, confirm it with us in writing before ordering.
  • Prices and specifications may change without notice. A written quotation supersedes catalogue display for the items and period it covers.
  • Pricing errors. If a product is listed at a materially incorrect price, we will contact you before processing and you may cancel at no cost. We will not simply charge the higher amount.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm it. We may decline or cancel before dispatch where stock is unavailable, the price was materially wrong, we cannot verify your details, or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel, we refund in full — including delivery charges and any convenience fee already paid.

Payment

Available methods are shown at checkout. Cash on Delivery is subject to value limits and serviceability at your pincode. Title to goods passes on full payment; risk passes on delivery.

Delivery

See our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, though we will tell you about material delays.

Returns, cancellation and warranty

See Refund & Returns, Cancellation and Warranty. Your statutory rights in respect of defective, deficient, spurious or misdescribed goods are unaffected by any window stated in those policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the site unlawfully; scrape, republish or resell our catalogue data; attempt unauthorised access to any system; upload malicious code; or post content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing or otherwise unlawful. We may suspend accounts that breach this clause.

Lawful use of surveillance equipment

CCTV and surveillance equipment must be installed and operated in compliance with applicable law, including privacy law and any signage, notice or consent requirements. You are responsible for lawful use. We do not accept liability for unlawful use of equipment by a purchaser or any third party.

Intellectual property

The Ancord name, logo, site design, text and photography are our property or licensed to us, and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. Manufacturer names and model numbers belong to their respective owners and are used to identify compatible products. You may not use our marks without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any product or service is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or business interruption. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Grievances

If something goes wrong, our Grievance Redressal page names the officer responsible, with a 48-hour acknowledgement and one-month resolution commitment.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your right to approach a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission where you reside or work — a right these terms do not restrict — the courts at Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published when you place an order is the version that governs it.
